Reasons to Celebrate

The 2019/20 academic year began in July. There are 418 children enrolled at Hunar Ghar School across thirteen classes, including 40 new children in the pre-school (Balwadi) section of the school. Most are first-generation learners, whose parents have not had the opportunity to go to school themselves. Our partner RBKS encourages all students to attend regularly and makes sure the school is a nurturing and supportive learning environment. Read More

We shared this two minute video at the awards ceremony to provide an overview of the impact of our projects in Bakhel. Learning first-hand through PBSA

Every year classes at Hunar Ghar undergo PBSA – Project Based Summative Assessment to learn through observation and interaction outside the school. The students pick up a topic in consultation with their class teachers and then plan and execute a visit themselves. This year class 4, 6 and 7 visited Primary Health Centre, Mandwa, Forest Deptt office, Kukawas and Post Office at Mandwa respectively for their PBSA. Here’s a brief overview of their experience…
