Hunar Ghar celebrated the 69th Republic Day of India this 26th January. The constitution of India came into effect in 1950 on January 26th and this day is ever since celebrated all over the country with great enthusiasm. Republic Day celebrations began at the school with the flag hoisting ceremony. The local administration from the Bakhel Panchayat and the Primary health Centre took part in the ceremony. This was followed by a cultural program which included group dances, solo dances and skits by the children. The enthusiasm of the students was indicated in the fact that a total of 21 dances took place. Over 400 community members watched the performances and appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers & students.
Classes 1 and 7 shared their learning by staging the acts they had prepared for Class Learning Demonstration Day at school. The day was one filled with patriotic fervor and enjoyment and the programs wrapped up after the distribution of sweets.
