Do some translating

How to translate for us

To translate for us, simply enter your translation of the text in bold into the box below where it says ‘Type your translation’ then click ‘Submit translation’. It’s as simple as that! The grey text is there to help give context to the sentence to be translated, and there is also a link the the page on which it appears to give even greater context.

Translating a bite at a time is so simple, you might as well come back and translate a new sentence a day!

We are currently accepting translations in Hindi, French and Spanish, but feel free to suggest another language and we’ll add it.

Why are we doing this?

We’re always looking to make our website more accessible to more people. A great way to do that would be to have it written in different languages. Having our website in Hindi is particularly important to us in helping more people in India gain access to quality information and ideas regarding the development of education in their country.

Sentence for translation: get another

Immersion We started by making contact with local NGOs and education authorities, to establish precise villages that were worth visiting. Then we visited these villages to cement our links with the most reliable NGOs. This period was massively labour intensive, sometimes travelling 400miles a day on terrible roads in order to totally immerse ourselves in the poorest communities and come to understand their needs.
