The endless things you could potentially become involved in with Educate For Life in the UK can sometimes mean that roles and responsibilities can become quite broad, and as a result, expectations can become blurry after a period of time. Therefore we feel it is important to clarify not only our expectations of people who volunteer, but also what you can expect of us after getting in contact.

Quite simply, what we would like to see in our volunteers is Passion, Enthusiasm, and a Sense of Responsibility:

Passion for Educate For Life, for education, for providing the opportunity to learn, and passion for your role in Educate For Life, whether its a fundraising event, updating the website, or helping us with our accounts.

We are looking for people with enthusiasm, lots of opinions and ideas and bags of energy to help implement these ideas!

A sense of responsibility is at the core of what we expect from volunteers. Educate For Life has been run by volunteers since the day we started. Had it not been for their passion and being able to depend on them to not only get things done, but also to go above and beyond, we would not be at this stage today.
