The Economist.com website has a good video which tells breifly (it’s about 5 minutes long) of some of the shortcoming of the Indian primary education system. I wouldn’t say that I agree with everything they say such as centralising the private education system – that would be very annoying for us! – and standardisation, again that would be very counter productive for us, but I appreaicate the sentimentality of trying to put and end to schools that are no good and increasing the quaility of education in both the private and government sectors.
