The flight was a bit of a drag, with my hangover from the celebrations before kicking in halfway through check-in at 5am, but here I am in Mumbai!

It’s great to see Ash, and it’s great to be back again. Ash came to meet me off the plane and we’ve just been chilling out for a day or before heading up north towards to school on the train tonight. Ash showed me some photos of the school (which we’ll show to you soon!), and now I can’t wait to get there. The kids are all in little uniforms with their hair all combed nicely, nothing like the little scraps I left behind 5 months ago and amazing to see. They look the part now, but can we give them what they need? That’s the next thing to discover!

This time last year Rob and I nearly missed out flight as we wrote a blog post here, so I’ll make this hasty:

I’m on my way! I’m bleary-eyed in Vienna, on my way to Mumbai apparently, doesn’t much feel like it though. lat time it was the slums on the side of Mumbai airport that reminded me where I was going, but I hope I cotton on a little earlier this year – I keep jerking awake and wondering why on earth I’m on an aeroplane!
